Day 1Arrival in Rome
Arrive in Rome, the Eternal City. Transfer to the hotel and check in.
Free time to relax or begin exploring Rome at your own pace.
Check hotel reception boards for your tour information and meeting schedule.
Day 2Rome City Tour & Vatican Visit
Morning panoramic tour of Rome: see the Arch of Constantine, exterior of the Colosseum, and Imperial Forums.
Drive by major sites: Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant’Angelo.
The tour ends at Vatican City (UNESCO); there is an option to join the guided visit to Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.
Evening: Transfer to Trastevere, a vibrant district known for Roman cuisine and local life. Return to hotel by 8:30 PM.
Day 3Free Day in Rome / Optional Excursion
Free day in Rome to explore or relax.
Optional Excursion: From April to October, visit the stunning island of Capri. From November to March, enjoy a cultural tour of Naples and the ruins of Pompeii.
Day 4Rome - Orvieto - Castiglione del Lago - Siena
Drive to Umbria. Stop at Orvieto: ride escalators to the mediaeval city and visit the Gothic cathedral.
Continue to Castiglione del Lago on Lake Trasimeno. Leisure time for lunch and a lakeside stroll.
Arrive in Siena: explore the stunning Piazza del Campo and Siena Cathedral.
Day 5Siena - Monteriggioni - San Gimignano - Florence
Visit Monteriggioni: a preserved mediaeval village with ancient stone walls.
Head to San Gimignano, famed for its mediaeval towers and scenic streets.
After lunch, journey to Florence, the Renaissance capital.
Optional visits: Uffizi Gallery or Accademia Gallery.
Evening: Enjoy a traditional Tuscan dinner.
Day 6Florence City Tour
Start with a panoramic view from Michelangelo Square.

Day 7Florence - Pisa - Cinque Terre - Genoa
Morning departure to Pisa. Board a tourist train to visit Piazza dei Miracoli and see the Leaning Tower.
Travel to Cinque Terre (UNESCO): train ride to one of the picturesque villages (typically Vernazza, but may vary).
Free time for lunch and exploration.
Take a train to Levanto, then continue by bus to Genoa.
Evening free to explore Genoa’s historic centre and port area.
Note: Cinque Terre train is a regular local service. Expect standing travel during busy seasons.
Day 8Genoa - Portofino - Milan
Drive to Santa Margherita Ligure. Board a boat to Portofino, Italy’s glamorous coastal gem.
Free time in Portofino: enjoy cafés, boutique shops, and scenic harbour views.
Afternoon: arrive in Milan. Explore its fashion-forward streets, Duomo, and historic arcade.
Note: In winter, if boat service is suspended, extra time will be spent in Santa Margherita. Alternative minibus available (limited service).
Day 9Milan Departure
The tour concludes after breakfast.
Free time until your flight. Option to extend your stay or arrange airport transfers.
