Day 1Berlin – Arrival & Leisure
Welcome to Germany! Upon arrival in Berlin, you’ll be transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is yours to relax and explore at your own pace.
In the afternoon, check the hotel reception boards for information about the tour’s official start.
Day 2Exploring Berlin’s Icons
Begin the day with a guided panoramic tour of Berlin’s major attractions.
Highlights include the historic city centre, Museum Island, Reichstag, and Brandenburg Gate.
Stroll through the shopping streets and beautiful parks.
We’ll also visit the Holocaust Memorial and Berlin Wall Memorial Museum.
In the afternoon, you may join an optional excursion to Potsdam, famous for its grand palaces
Day 3Berlin – Wolfsburg – Celle – Hannover
Travel into Lower Saxony, starting with a visit to Wolfsburg – home of Volkswagen.
Enjoy entry to Autostadt, a fascinating automobile-themed complex with exhibitions and gardens.
Take time for a relaxing walk and lunch in the area.
Next, explore Celle’s charming old town filled with 16th–17th-century timbered houses and a Renaissance castle.
Reach Hannover by mid-afternoon. Discover its dynamic mix of historic and modern architecture, cultural venues, and expansive green spaces.
Day 4Hannover–Goslar – Göttingen – Bad Sooden-Allendorf – Eisenach
Start the day with a visit to the Rammelsberg Mines, a UNESCO-listed silver mine with a rich mediaeval legacy.
Tour the museum to understand the life of miners and regional history.
Head to Goslar, where its fairy-tale old town and St Peter’s Church offer a step back in time.
Stop in Göttingen for lunch and a stroll through this lively university city once home to the Brothers Grimm.
Enjoy a peaceful pause in the spa town of Bad Sooden-Allendorf, tucked among forested hills.
Arrive in Eisenach, where Baroque and Renaissance buildings await, along with the famous Bach House and Luther’s House.
Day 5Eisenach–Gotha – Erfurt – Leipzig
Begin your day with a visit to Wartburg Castle (entry included), a fortress where Martin Luther translated the Bible.
Return to Eisenach and enjoy free time Music lovers can explore the Bach House, or car enthusiasts may visit the Automobile Museum.

Drive on to Gotha, known for its impressive Baroque palace (exterior visit) and quaint town centre.
In Erfurt, admire the grand cathedral and the unique Krämerbrücke (Merchant’s Bridge), lined with centuries-old homes.
Reach Leipzig by evening, a vibrant city rich in culture, once home to Bach and Wagner.
Day 6Leipzig – Dresden – Bamberg – Nuremberg
Start with a photo stop at Leipzig’s Battle of the Nations Monument, commemorating the Napoleonic War.
Next, explore Dresden, the capital of Saxony, known for its Baroque architecture, palaces, and riverside promenades.
Continue to Bamberg, a UNESCO-listed town with winding lanes, half-timbered houses, and the famed “Little Venice”.
Arrive in Nuremberg, the second-largest city in Bavaria, with a complex WWII legacy and mediaeval charm. Don’t miss the site of Hitler’s former rally grounds.
Day 7Nuremberg – Danube Cruise – Dachau – Munich
From Kelheim, board a short Danube river cruise through the scenic Danube Gorge (seasonal/weather dependent).
Visit the beautiful Kloster Weltenburg, a Benedictine monastery founded in 1040, nestled beside the river.
Tour the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial, a solemn and powerful historical site.
After lunch, arrive in Munich for visits to BMW Welt and Olympiastadion, the venue of the 1972 Olympics.
